This is pretty ironic but i usually play Progressive House/Progressive/Tech-Trance , but i've received a request from a promoter to make sets like i usually do but having tech-house as core (So will be tech house and some songs of another house subgenres). I'll be making 100€+/hour which in my area is a lot, possibly the best paid dj of my region.
The problem is that i've never been interested in tech-house although i have assisted to some raves and live sets, my overall knowledge of this subgenre is nearly 0 and i am researching for good tracks to start burning them and practicing with 3-4 decks.
I need good producers,labels,sets, track lists... everything you think a relatevely novice to this style would need.

Really, all you need to do is find tracks that you like that have "tech house-y" elements... it's not hard to do when you're used to prog house.

I have to agree with you and it's sad... but...
I just wanted some suggestions, i already have some tracks that are between prog and tech that i'm sure could fit because i have spent this morning listening techy sets but i am looking mostly for producers.

The problem is, "tech house" is such a vague and broad term that it's really hard to determine what the promoter is looking for.
For example, all of these tracks could be considered 'tech house' depending on who you ask:
you are gettin paid 100 euros an hour and want someone to do the work for you? I'll help you...for 99 euros an hour.
What a dj you must be....why don't you listen to samples yourself instead of trying to be a failure jukebox.
