After years of listening to industrial bands and being mad at "the system" for no apparent reason, Naveen G finally found a more creative outlet for his disturbed mind in electronic music rather than continuing to wear lots of black t-shirts. Being exposed to all forms of electronic music in college, he joined up with the WNUR 89.3FM Streetbeat team, hosting the only progressive show on Chicago radio for years. He eventually branched out into producing his own style of progressive and techhouse that is consistently hailed as exploring the late night side of the dancefloor, straying far from the conventional formula, yet still achieving commercial success, with even a coveted Global Underground licensing with his first release.
From minimal to progressive and everything in between, Naveen G's releases reflect his DJing ability to adapt to the crowd or a headliner using his diverse range. Equally comfortable warming up a room properly or playing on his own deep into the night, Naveen has brought his unique and varied style to the unsuspecting dancefloors across the world from South America to Asia, where they have learned to expect the unexpected. With an acclaimed show on Proton Radio, a steady string of releases for 2010 with past support from Sasha, John Digweed, Satoshi Tomiie, Hernan Cattaneo and others, as well as gigs alongside a wide range of DJs such as Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Anja Schneider, Cassy, S.O.S., Spooky, Audiofly , Chris Fortier, Jonathan Lisle and many others inbetween, Naveen G continues to gain new followers among both DJs and clubgoers alike.

Look at the Moon? How you ask, when there is no moon on this evening? On this night we celebrate the lunar phase of the New Moon. You may not see the moon, but we as human beings can still feel her. The moon effects our tides and our emotions, as many other things. Just like music, we cant see it on this evening, but we can still feel it. In history ancients believed that the New Moon was a time to celebrate new beginnings and a time for spiritual cleansing. A beginning of another night here in Tampa from the people that bring you Soul Food. We come together this evening, one with music and one with the nights sky, together lets look at the moon.

Eric Cloutier NYC

Born and bred in Michigan, and currently based in Brooklyn, Eric Cloutier is one of a new generation of American DJs bridging the gap between dance music's past and its future. His sets have a sprawling depth and sophistication that fuses the brooding intensity of tripping techno with the mechanic funk of contemporary house.
Cloutier started spinning records in 1996, quickly establishing himself in Detroit's competitive local scene, holding down residencies at The Necto and prominent afterhours spot The Works. This led to a job booking Oslo, where he brought the likes of Richie Hawtin, Luciano and Michael Mayer to town, as well as handing out residencies to local legends Three Chairs and Stacey Pullen.
In 2006, Cloutier made the jump to New York and quickly established himself, earning a residency at the premiere monthly techno night The Bunker and mid-week soiree Den of Thieves. He's also begun his own night, Down, in which he often stretches out to play lengthy sets that showcase his range, effortlessly threading together deeper shades of house and dub-infused techno. Word has been spreading too: 2009 saw Cloutier recording two mixes for the mnml ssgs podcast series, beginning to work in the studio for the first time on his own material, making his European DJing debut and getting tapped to play at Japan's renowned Labyrinth Festival. That latter honor may be the most telling of all: Only a select few are asked to spin at Labyrinth. (It's the provenance of studious selectors like Daniel Bell, Donato Dozzy and Peter Van Hoesen.) To not only spin in their company, but to have ably held his own should tell you all you need to know about Eric Cloutier: He's a DJ for whom quality—above all else—is the watchword.
