I'm a bust, left in the middle of Lukes set. Felt like the whole drive up. Luckily I didn't get walked in until like 11ish or else I would have left sooner missing more of Lukes set.
Didn't get no where near on stage, I probably would have puked on some one if i would have :/
Lukes set was great as always for the 45mins I saw, I left right after turbulence. Couldn't hang, being sick SUCKS!!

We got there at 11pm. The event was SOLD OUT and the line was ridiculous!!! It wrapped all around The Grove. We lucked out because some girl came up to us and walked in everyone that was at the end of the line with us. So we didn't wait more than 10 min. Who was the girl? We don't know but she had a radio. I'm sure she was a manager or something. There was tons of police in and out of the Grove. I saw a few people get arrested in the parking lot and there was LOTS of kids... grrrr
The production was pretty cool, but it seemed like a rave. Lots of people rolling and epuddles everywhere. Laidback Luke was pretty good, but very very commercial. He played nothing like the time I saw at WMC. When Aoki came on, he accidently unplugged the music from LBL and completely killed the vibe. It took a few mins to get the music back on. When he did, Aoki started playing some weird . That was my cue to leave! hahaha

interesting night. i didnt have the best time, but not horrible either. my bf's lil 18 yr old sis had a great time, so thats all that really matters :) A friend of mine was backstage and was about to walk us back with him, but apparently the grove ppl were freaking out about aoki stage diving. They said if he did they would shut it all down. sooo for some reason that prevented me going to stalk Luke haha. he didnt end up doing it (unless he did after i left) but he still sprayed champagne all over the 18 yr olds in the front. lol
Luke's set was very commercial, but i think it got better after you left andres! lol... i wanted to slap the girls next to me who wouldnt stop screaming at nothing! lol.

yeaaaa that was bad! the tech guys were up there for a long time between whoever and LA Riots, so someone up there didnt know what they were doing. LA Riots kept coming up and then leaving and the other djs would come back. I bet they did something wrong for aoki and he just said it. haha thats my guess. after that first screamo song (that no one moved to btw) he played all his hits and then played another screamo song and the kids all went crazy for it.
