Wonder how they are able to get that or even be allowed to promote that with Sebastian playing in the beginning of November then Angello beginning of December at Avalon.
If it's not Giant doingthe SHM thing, I'd be upset. |

This booking makes sense, since they're in Vegas that weekend!

Yeah, but they play in Miami the night before Vegas. Not like it would just a simple trip from LA to Vegas for them that weekend. :p |

its two entirely different acts isnt it?
they are promoting "swedish house mafia"(a collaborative group of artists) not "steve angello" or "sebastian ingrosso"(individuals playing avalon in the next few weeks)
tons of artists are involved in more than one project. I know many musicians who are say guitarists/lead singers in one group and play drums in another.
as long as their gigs/practices dont overlap, seems to be just fine with the other bandmembers
in the end this is likely a private party, with no cover charges, so it's fine to hold it. why it's getting so much hype on ta, is likely to the faint hope it will be open to the public. Go to vegas for that, and pay for the $40 ticket! |

the exclusivity issue is more that someone who sees the SHM the end of Oct here in LA might say... hmmmm... i just saw Ingrosso spin part of the nite last week so i'm not going to bother going to the Avalon show this week... if you are paying one of the SHM guys individually to spin, you don't want people to have that thought...
lets be honest... you'll hear pretty much the same tracks at a SHM show as you'd hear at a Angello gig... this isn't the same thing as a someone making a guest appearance at a show IMO...
if it was a private party then no big deal but if they sell tix, then that's another matter entirely.
we shall see - i've heard from multiple parties the details of when and where and whose promoting it, but for whatever reason its not publically announced yet so not point in giving out the details. if it does happen and tickets are sold or done via a guestlist signup, i'm sure we'll hear about it here as soon as it happens. |

| I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but let's see if it actually goes down. If it does it will probably be 1 or 2 of them billed, and the other(s) just hanging around (like what was mentioned in another thread). A little birdie told me that nothing is set in stone with one of the Sweeds agents... |
