Not sure where to post this but i guessing this forum is probably my best bet. Our blog is branching out to start covering more genres of electronic music. We are looking for dedicated writers who can post the latest news from the trance scene (mixes, free tracks, upcoming releases, record label news, artist interviews etc).
1-2 post per day is sufficient. Rewriting/copying stuff from other news sources and forums is sufficient so it doesnt take too long. We just want to try and cover all styles of electronic music on our blog.
This is a non paid role (will take about 30 mins max per day to do 2 posts). What you do get is being part of one of the fastest growing music blogs on the net, and with quality content we will surely be one of the biggest (we currently pull in over 2500 readers per day and this is just covering the drum and bass scene), and maybe the odd gift voucher ;)
Hope to find some dedicated, passionate trance lovers who want to help out. |

Wtf? Sounds like a quality place to find information. Why bother with your blog if it's all just ripped off other sites?

Are you actually one of the fastest growing music blogs on the net, as you claim? You can provide statistics, and so forth? I'd be interested to see them ;) |

Umm do you visit many music blogs? Most music blogs work as an aggregate....
most of the stuff we post is a copy/rewrite, so to speak, from other sites but how else is it supposed to work ????
The blog at the moment posts news, mixes etc from the drum and bass scene. I cant create everything single piece of music and information for this genre so that my blog is unique.
Example - a dj posts a new podcast or mix on a forum, we will copy this and post it on the blog.
an artist has just uploaded some sneak previews of his forthcoming album on soundcloud, we will copy this and post it on the blog.....
do you understand how it works??
We have grown to be one of the most popular blogs for drum and bass. There are not many dnb blogs on the net that pull in 2500 visitors every day. When we start to branch out into other genres we will be bringing in even more visitors. I am hoping for a few writers for each genre of music.
I know the other blogs that are big in dnb and can compare my blog to these to understand how popular my blog is.
I dont know the community of blogs that represent trance and other electronic music genres so its hard for me to compare my blog to these other blogs.
On a quick search of google, most of the top ranking blogs for trance and electronic music are updated rarely, or, as for most i have found are no longer updated at all. I could be wrong. This is why i am looking for some passionate trance heads to help me. |
