yes but does cunt = douche? to me, cunt is more bitchy, asshol-ish; where as douche is more stupid, dumb, etc... |
Is there a female equivalent? I mean, ditz, dingbat doesnt really seem to fit either. In all fairness I think a douche can be assholish...just look at the jersey shore guys. One or more might be the male equivalent to a c*n*. |

hm...insightful. perhaps, yes. but in their case, i see them more as tools; rather than douches. although there's a bit of aslim line between the two. |

I gave it some thought, as his weekly ;) ;) ;) ;) segment on sunday night football is just unbearable (even for Costas), but Joe Buck is really on a level that I don't think any other broadcaster can ever approach. Chris Collinsworth gave it a pretty valiant effort, but even he fell short (and actually made a full 180-degree turn imo). |

I actually really like Collinsworth as Al Micheals' color commentator, he knows what he's talking about, he just has his favorites.. I didn't like him on Fox, but he works very well with Micheals. |

I'll give you that...Collinsworth def toned it down since he has been on NBC
I could never stand him on FOX
but IMO, when he joined Inside the NFL, it was all over for that show. He was never needed for that show, it worked just fine wit Len and Nick |

Good call on Joe Buck... it's really hard to outdo that douchey pick. Did anyone see the first episode of his show "Joe Buck Live" on HBO get derailed by that psychopath comedian Artie Lange? I actually felt bad for Buck that time... it was incredibly uncomfortable to watch such a train wreck. I think his show was canceled after like 3 episodes. :p |

But his voice sounds like peanut butter wrapped in velvet. |

Interesting. Not once has Bob Costas, Cris Collinsworth, or Joe Buck ever bothered me. I don't get annoyed by sports commentators in the least.
I get bothered by poker commentators who think they're funny. I'm looking at you, Norman Chad. |

I think the douchiness ppl are referring to is when sport commentators who don't know much about the sport they are talking about or over do it with trying to ad color and fill space. Or that they act like know it alls pointing out stupid . The best word I can think of to describe it is Smarmy.
They often lose sight of that they are there to give insightful analysis not compete with the game. I find it annoying that they pull the good commentators when the playoff start and throw in the celebrity commentators who endlessly babble gibberish. |
