| Drag the master fader right down... If you're new it might pay to look into proper mixing practise and not clip the sound. |

Turn this down, or, better yet, keep it at 0.0 dB and set your kick to peak at about -8.5 or -8.0 dB. Then level all the rest around that and try to aim for a final mix peak level no more than -3.0 dB. Maybe someone can suggest others, but one PPM (peak program meter) I know about is FreeG. Put that on your master channel or any mixer channels you wish to find the peak level of. |
