That's not true. I Pm'd him and he got back to me instantly and had already observed my concerns himself. It's slightly more complicated to install rules without specific examples or at least a general consensus (hence my poll in this forum about WIPs).
@Kit/Swamper - I'm actually not sure further sub forums is a good idea. I think it dilutes the forum and I think a a lot of things would be missed in terms of discussion if they were further split.
As for TA being ugly - I'm not sure about that either. I'm on various other forums (non edm) and even though in comparison TA is very basic aesthetically, I kind of like how simplistic it is. In a way it just makes you focus on the content, not CGI laden emoticons etc. It also loads damn fast on my phone when needed. Some of the really fancy forums take forever to bloody display. |

I agree with all of this. I don't come here to see a pretty website. I like the simple layout and I especially like the colors, since my baby blue eyes are pretty sensitive to lighter backgrounds, so I can look at this forum much longer than I can look at something with a light background before fatigue sets in.
I wouldn't mind changing the name to something more encompassing, though, since I don't really care for trance much anymore....yeah, nevermind. :p |

I like the design of TA it's easy on the eyes. The only thing that needs an update is the very top of the page. I like the TA logo but, I think we could do better than that bald guy.

I think ta works great the way it is. The way it looks is perfect to me, like DJ Rann says it makes you focus on the content.
But to add to that, a lot of forums are black on white, and one thing I've always loved specifically about this place is how its light green (I think its green lol) text on a dark background... for w/e reason I can read on here for hours w/out getting fatigued.
We also have a multitude of egomanical self obsessed s with attitudes.. and thats always been another thing I liked. Not just because we have good debates here, but I find a much higher degree of "realism". I've posted about whether hardware was better than software on serious sounds and got a "polite" a well debated thread about it. But nothing enough to make me realize how stupid I was at the time for posting the thread.
When I came to these forums and saw how aggravated those same topics made people, it was really the extent of their aggravation that MADE ME LEARN. I hated feeling like a random target at the time but I learned more here in 2 days then I learned at other forums in 2 years.
Its NOT just the content, its so much the passion and attitudes of other posters in general that I came to like.. which took a long ing time lol.
edit: I also wanna mimic what was said above I wasn't gonna mention it but the ONLY thing I really don't like about this place is the gay bald man looking down like his bf is blowing him. I just don't understand it at all and its far too cheesy. Put a shirt on him or get a real ing logo. |

swamper said that one of his server raids failed. i think hes doing an amazing job with the website, given the amount of traffic it has received for so long, amazing work in my opinion. /takes lips off of swampers peepee |
