This is a nice track.
Production sounds good on my headphones.
My only criticism is that it is a little bit linear and when the track kicks in it doesn't pack enough punch. Seems to resume where it left off rather than make a statement.
Still mighty fine work though.

excellent - thanks for that, i shall improve the track, i am fairly new to this so feedback is great especially as it is difficult to gauge how much change to add to a track without losing the effect - i think i could afford to add some punch at the start maybe even an extra synth with a hint of the melody

Turn the volume almost right down and then judge the levels. You should find the kick and bass are too loud (in particular the bass frequencies are too loud).
Also there's a click at 3:01.
Definitely liking the track otherwise. |

Pretty much agree with above - keep an eye on your master out levels, sounds like you have maximised the hell out of this track.
The overall production is tight sounding, perhaps a bit too formal in parts. Loving the chord progression but I can't help but feel that there's something still missing in this track - the climax sounds a bit empty as the main synth you've used sounds like it should be a supplementary part rather than the main lead.
Other than that, I really like it - has potential to be a great track :) |
