anyways, i'm a reasonable guy so i'm gonna comment with some restraint. tru with what Maverick said, not all of our comments were directed about sex. when i talked about walking around the Eaton center and noticing these trends i really meant that stuff. now weather or not those couples were dating for the sex of the other so called 'race' i don't know. but a lot of what you said up there is really subjective. i know you're generalizing things so that's fine but none of that stuff is 100% proven. I myself am Asian and I'm about 6 feet tall. Just from hitting up various parties and meeting TA's at various places I stand taller than most of you so what does this say? And if SWAMPER is reading this i don't think he'd be too happy about what you had to say either heh :P Besides ask a woman how much dick size actually affects how good it is .. they can't feel a thing past an inch into their hole unless u plan to penetrate thru some poor girl's back !

so let's get more to some GENERALIZING here .. this is what i've observed at the Eaton center which is probably the Mecca of Toronto Interracial dating. And I agree with bodhichitta 100% that 'race' is a human-made thing. I once took antropology and my prof told us that "biological races" do not exist. It's something that's created by people since less than 2% of your genetic makeup determines your skin colour and such. Unfortunately skin colour is what people see first and look how much of an impact is has in this world, from entertainment, employment, income, to war and religion... and especially beauty. Almost everything is based on it.
anyways this is what i tend to notice the most when i walk around the mall afterschool:
the most COMMON 'interracial' couples i see at Eaton Center:

White guy - asian girl
the most UNCOMMON 'interracial' couples i see at Eaton Center:

Black guy - asian girl (unless she'z a hoochie mama, but conservative asian... no.)
White guy - brown/arab/indian and black girl
Asian guy - brown/arab/indian, black, and white girl
Brown guy - asian, black, and white girl.
Conclusion:
Women: white girls and asian girls seem to be the ones that have the most 'interracial' appeal. if you don't believe just check out the entertainment and TV industry. MOST of the news anchor women on every channel is either WHITE or ASIAN. how many BROWN or BLACK anchor women do you see ??? and i mean North American news here too... not to say there aren't any just not a LOT as the others.
Men: black guys seem to have a lot of interracial appeal as well but most conservative non-black women will probably avoid them due to 'stereotypes' about their lifestyle. The more liberal and open minded women definately seem to seek them.
the white guy has a LOT of interracial appeal. i honestly believe that if you asked most women if they had to date someone outside of their own race they would probably choose a white guy unless the girl was white herself. Why is this?? Well look at the whole world.. it's run by WHITE MEN !! heh :P
Asian men still make & drive better cars tho ! hahaha .. sorry i just had to get that one in :]
ps. i'm not saying this cuz i'm complaining about the stereotype that white women don't date anyone except for black guys and white guys. what i've said are based on my own observations in public with regards to responses to comments stated above. |

Now back to the subject. Bodhichitta I don't think any one of us was strictly just talking about sex :) A lot of what you say is true anyways so why would we find it offensive..hehe.
Let's face it, asian dudes do have small penises (sorry guys,please dont' kill me :haha: ) it's true in general anyways so why fight it? If you don't believe me go out and watch an asian porno, it's so funny. All the guys there have tiny peckers and you see the girls getting off with it, it's hilarious :haha: :haha: (of course this doesn't mean I got a tiny penis, that's for me to know :haha: )
Yeah Maverick I'd definately love to meet you, as well as everyone here on this trance board. We're all united here on this board based solely on our love of the music which to me means a lot and something I hold really dear.
As far as me dating exclusively white girls, that's not true. I love all girls. It's just from my experience from the people that I met that it turned out that way. I think it's pretty shallow to just date one race (god I hate that word) cuz I think you'd be missing out on so much. The best relationship that I've ever had was dating this asian chick which lasted for 3 years. It was so perfect.
And Desidel what you said about korean girls is right. It's so hard for a white dude to get with a korean girl. That's because their parents are so damn strict when it comes to interacial dating but all that is changing now.
Oh and as for asian guys dating white girls, a friend of mine told me white girls in Guelph Ontario are really into asian guys there especially. If someone from Guelph can confirm if it's true or not for me that would be great, so me and Maverick can move there. Thanks guys! :) |

What you say is true, and I was generalizing. However I myself don't like generalizing so what I said is certainly NOT 100% true. In fact the more I look back on it the more racist, steoreotypical, and discriminatory it all sounds. This is so true!!! Everytime I think about this I am shocked that so much "importance" is placed on "race" when it's such an insignificant factor as far as human characteristics are concerned (a "non-factor" even!).

First off, let me begin by saying that 90% of my friends are Korean and I've always had Oriental people as a majority of my friends since I was 11, me being 22 now... so i know a thing or two on how asian girls think.
I am dating a Chinese girl,( and she is very beautiful :eyes: )[ and were getting married ] and I've seen all these trends and have noted a lot of things over the years.
Most young highschool Asian girls nowadays like to associate themselves with their own kind, cuz its cool i guess. But as they get older, maybe University, sometimes they decide on going for a bit of a change. Something that doesnt remind them of their own culture, and what better way than to go Cornflake!.haha. i.e Whitey!.
But there are some girls, especially Koreans, whom tend to go back to their own kind when it comes time to settle down and marry. I have to admit though, Asian girls are a commodity nowadays.
You have to sit back and admire how far we've come sometimes when you see all these races getting together and mingling. I hate people who dissociate themselves from the whole world and stick to their own kind.. for God sakes.. we live in Toronto!>.the most multicultural city in the world. But we have to see more mingling of other races. This could lead our children to a world of no colour barriers and of mutual love...

hmmm can I add a little of negativism to this??
here I go, from what people keep telling me (friends & relatives) interacial dating is barely okay, but when you want the real deal (mariage, family, kids, etc) stick to your own race/culture/religion.
For example, my Greek friend who also happens to be christian orthodox married with a Syrian(Arabic country) who is a Chritian Syriac Catholic. Which by the way are two mideteranean cultures that have alot in comon.
Amidst the language difference between the two families which creates incomprehension and off course distance, you have the religion differences too. For example Orthodox and Catholics celebrate the same holidays but at different dates. When they'll have children where to baptize them? Baptize them as catholics? or orthodox? what language will they learn? (children tend to learn their mother's language). etc etc... i think you got the point.
My friend loves his wife and there's absolutly no tension between the two, but he told me that if he had to redo it (mariage) he would go for a Greek woman for all these reasons and more. He doesn't hate Syrians or anybody else, its just more practical and creates far less friction between families.
Also it is very rare to see an Arabic girl marry someone from another race even less religion, and dating is out of the question 95% of the times. Arabics tends to be very conservative for many reasons... which I hate/like at the same time.
By the way i'm a Syrian Christian Syriac Orthodox and i'm engaged with a girl with that same combination hehehe, we're very few in Canada to be Syrian-Chr.-Syriac-Ortho. even with this combo I still get inlaws who aren't satisfied argggh....(thats another long story, I should write a novel ;)) |

I can't agree with that. For example the way Christian, Muslims, Jews, Hindu, etc think is in some way different from each other, this tend to create friction.
Personnaly I don't believe in God and never go to church but being baptized and educated as a Christian changes the way I am. I have some muslim and buhdist friends and their view about certain things and the world isn't the same at all, how am I supposed to go out with one of them if we can't agree on certain subject:eyes:
hehe when I was a bit younger I really wanted to date only asian girl:D but it never really hapened :(. I think they're very in demand because (i'm generalising now) these girls are very fit, very sophisticated and cute. |

anyways, all i can say is that better for some people to be spending time in church than having those same people running around and killing each other.
and YES Asian girls ARE in demand ! a lotta my non-Asian guy friends are always trying to hook up with an Asian girl itz insane .. now if only Asian GUYS were in this demand heh .. i'd be in heaven ! :] |

I agree, this is a very interesting fact. In fact, I too find asian women to be very very attractive!! More so than almost any other "race."
Though, for me personally, nothing beats Serbian women. (but then again I'm Serbian too - it's a cultural thing I guess :tongue3)
It seems that this is in line with the whole "in the end you stick with your own kind" matter. Cultural ties, in the end, are indeed hard to break.
Though there's another element that has a strong presence, and that's BEAUTY. When I see beauty, I'm dumbstruck, no matter who it is, what "colour", etc. etc. But I get more dumbstruck in this way with Serbian (or generally Slavic) women than others (Asians are close behind - it's just something about their...elegance).
Wow this sounds cliched and off track. But that's ok. |
