Amsterdam Help

So it looks like I'm going to be in Amsterdam for NYE. I realize it's a ways away but I'm trying to plan my trip out as much as possible right now since I'll be city hoping a lot with Lille as my home base.
I was looking for advice from anyone who's ever been on where to look to find decent events and things going on. The subsection on TA is pretty sparse. I'll keep my eye on RA as well, but I figure there might be something else out there.

| I am here at the moment and heard Studio 80 is great as a venue. Going there next week for the music festival and will let you know. |

| Studio 80 is awesome.. one of the only places open pretty late during non-ADE times. Saw squillace there last year. I'm pretty sure there's an awakenings on new year's eve in the dam in which case GO TO THAT. no doubt the highest quality talent headlining that... last year was like beyer, liebing, 2000 and one vs bart skills and marcel dettmann vs ben klock. pretty in epic if you ask me |

Checked out Awakenings. So far they're only listing something in Rotterdam. It's not much further but my friends aren't big on straight up techno so Beyer, Lekebusch, and Capriati are going to be tough sells along with the extra hour of driving.
I'll keep my eye out on Studio 80 though, thanks! |
