I'm in desperate need for new music. I'm at the point where I'm sick to death of all the songs that I normally listen to. I can sit there for minutes on end just hitting shuffle until a song I find comes up. This isn't just with EDM as well, but all genres that I listen to. Does anyone have any recommendations for finding completely new music and what not, besides scanning beatport for hours on end (like I said not just EDM).

Honestly the only three genres that I listen to are EDM, Reggae, and Rap. Anything that falls into those categories I pretty much love.

How to find new music:
Last fm, threads, youtube related, discogs recomended albums, looking through discogs for labels your artists are on and other artists on there, sets, looking at set tracklisting that contains artists you like

you can buy digital there at discogs, as well as at honest jon's records website, amazon.com, (and probably itunes as well)

- Listen to internet radio stations
- Go on YouTube and search for "top 10 [month] [genre] songs". A lot of people like to do these videos where they create charts of different genres each month, and you should be able to find something you like amongst all the snippets.
