What with all the crunk/funk/spunk and dunk i've been making lately I thought I'd knock up a qwik trancer.

Turns out I quite like it so here it is in it's most unpolished form :-

I really like the powerful driving mix, nice kick and clap and all the sounds.

Maybe add some sort of movement to that mid roller in the intro - have you tried the free fromage filtery thing - that would work great of that sound - slowly automated.

In the part between mini and main break - I feel some sort of filtering automation to the bass and percs would add interest in it's second protion - gradualy down to the break.

Main break sounds powerful and squishy - reaching for the lazer. Could be your'e best work for me.

Cheers Rich me old plum duff.

I completely agree with the points you've made. The intro still has plenty of tweakage to be made and the initial mini break is really just a framework still.

and just so you know, I probably binned 10 attempts at a trancer to get to this one ;)

I really like all the sounds you've chosen, very good overall vibe :) Only thing I notice is a little lack of sub bass. Other than that it feels very good on my ears if that makes sense :p

Sounds like it's coming along nicely. Really love the synth work on this, too.

Have you updated that Disco saga you were working on? I was looking for that when I found this. Regardless, keep it up and, once again, looking forward to the finished product.

Mmm'k this is up for a facelift over the Christmas holidays, and get it finished obviously.

Having listened to it again I'm thinking it needs a bit more of a solid hook.
