Yeah, they often put either a photo of the building or an ad to make it look nicer while it's being repaired. Edit: actually they always do it if it's an important structure.

It's a safe city, but be prepared to deal with a lot of staring. It doesn't have the social stigma here that it does in most other cultures, and really the Czechs aren't very used to seeing black people around. An African-American girl I know here from Philly has to deal with it quite often, but she says she's just learnt to stare right back at them until they look away. |
