he wouldnt be able to pick up all those american channels from milton with a 4-bay antenna. he would need an 8-bay and mount it at a pretty high elevation.

edit: also being in milton might require him to use two antennas because CN Tower would be southeast and buffalo would be southwest. and then combine both signals with a generic splitter.

No.

I used to have 8-bay. Got rid of it.
You're missing a lot of channels on your list the round antenna can pick up.
No rotator, you're limited in channels.

Too messy... UFO antenna with built-in rotator solves all problems.

From Milton... He'll need three antennas if you're pushing the 8 bay solution... terrible eyesore. He does not enjoy the almost direct line we enjoy here in York region unfortunately.

This is Milton's signal map... he's got towers all over the place... rotator is a must. You could always go one 8-bay with a rotator, but that starts to exceed $200.

on about 16ft of pole on my roof. I'm in Aurora, which is really pushing it for signals. I know you have yours on your chimney... but height is key.

I thought I recalled you mentioning that the last thread... oh well... I know you don't want things to stand out... I understand the eyesore thing... i used to have mine on a 8ft pole on the side of my house, and when I moved it to the top, I got about 4 more channels... I added another 8ft pole extension, and zing! I now enjoy what North York people enjoy :)
