The continued rise of Alan Fitzpatrick is the biggest story in UK techno right now. Championed by Dubfire, Len Faki and John Digweed, it has been Alan’s partnership with Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label that has produced his most significant work; releasing his debut album ‘Shadows In The Dark’ and two chart-topping EP’s (Static and Face Of Rejection) on the label in the last year.
Embracing the style for which his Drumcode releases have become so popular, The Heist combines new school production with old school sentiments via classic sounding rave stabs and a massive rising tone build.
Slam provide the remix, delivering a standout version that manages to retain all the impact of the original while at the same time evolving the vibe of the track, chopping up the stabs and adding a snappy percussion driven groove.
