I wanted to open this topic to thank 1015 and it's staff for providing me with a place to go hang out whenever I was in the mood for some banging trance. I first visited 1015 back in 2001, when I turned 21. My first show was Paul Oakenfold and I remember how shocked I was to be able to party in such a HUGE and crowded club. At that time the club seemed so large to me, due to all the rooms being pack and crowded. When I first walked into the main room, I was mesmerized with the shooting lasers and huge Disco Ball that would come down and rise up. The club was pack that night and from that moment forward 1015 became very special to me.
I had so many great times, one of my favorites was when I saw Armin van Buuren played for well over 6 hours.
Also, chillen in the basement was wicked, back in the days they would play hard trance down there. Had so many good times down there. You always could count to get an added burst of energy no matter what time you decided to walk down there. In time the place down there became too dark and staff decided to change things up, and with that the beginning of the end for the basement started.
Another awesome memory to me was when they first installed the NITRO. On one of the first nights, they used to much NITRO on the first run that the whole room got whited our for over 5 minutes, the NITRO migrated to the front room.. It got so cooled, yet it was awesome to experience.
Countless times I saw Paul van Dyk play 1015 and he always tore things up.
New Years 2004 with Ferry Corsten was insane, he played 6 hours and the club again pack from corner to corner. You would take over 30 minutes to walk from one end of the main room to the other...
The beauty of the club to me was always that the people there were there to party and enjoyed the music.
Also, who can't forget the awesome night with Aly & Fila in 2009!!! MY GOD one of the best nights in 2009!!!
Anyway, this post has really made sad, thinking at some of the great times.... 1015 You will for ever hold a very special place in my heart.. Thank you for the awesome times!!!
I hope that TRANCE returns to 1015, no way SALSA and Reggeton are taking over our club..

Good luck on something new!!

Taj has everything right, however, i never loved 1015 on the inside, so maybe Taj can really shine in a new venue!
It is so sad to see this pinnacle location close its doors to EDM. This history in this club is insane! I have some GREAT memories there, mostly recent ones...
The cool part of the club is you could just do whatever as long as you were respectful, I'll miss that, always a good time at 1015. I look forward to more from this crew!
Thank You Taj, David, Blurr, and 1015 as well as Niko and C-Kay, as well as Beaver, for the amazing times!

I'm going to miss 1015. It had its ups and downs but 1015's become arguably my favorite venue for the past couple of years with the list of acts that Taj has brought in.
Best of luck, Taj!

Thanks again to TAJ, VAHID, BLURR for the hospitality everytime at 1015. Saturday night was such a blast. starting in north beach for a bday party, then hitting up 1015 to catch vahid and taj.
I had a great time at 1015, and was so pumped up, I made it to the end up for the first time during the daytime.
I'm going to miss going to the events at 1015, but what a way to go out for me personally!

Damn shame. Thanks Taj and company for bringing out top notch talent. I too was not a fan what so ever of the main room and the vibe, but the djs booked were great. Hopefully this experience of throwing great EDM nights leads you into another clubnight at a better venue so us EDM fans can continue thanking you for bringing the talent you know how to bring.
