Yo yo, im really eager to hear some feedback/criticism of my latest track, i used vocals from the house classic "can you feel it-fingers inc".. I realise that the levels are a bit messed up atm and I think I should probably sort them out..

Yeah the levels are CRAZY, you need to throw some compression on that bass line stat, lol.
The percussion and kick sample you chose don't really seem to fit the track to me, a kick with a little more noise and a little higher in terms of frequencies usually works better (IMO) in electro house, because you usually want super deep sub bass frequencies and you don't want them conflicting with the kick and sounding muddy.
It just sounds kind of messy; there's potential in the concept but the arrangement is strange and the vocals are just kind of there, and they're clicking really badly.
Keep working on it though =D |
