3 24 inch wide screens each rotated vertically. I feel like i'm in a spaceship. I also have my pc screen to the left I use for video sync , wavelab and porn which is a 30 inch but it is rather far so it needs to be big.

how on earth can you work on such a small viewing screen. LCD screens are so cheap, I have no idea how anyone doesn't have at least 2 24 inch screens.

I produce on a single 15" screen :D

13" here.

btw regarding the studio trip, id call in sick.

+1. If you've got the time and it's not getting in the way of other important things, just go check it out. You might learn some things, and you might teach them a thing or two. Bring along a singer and get some free recording time in. See if they have any gear that you've been interested in and spend your time putting it through the paces. I'm sure you can find a way to make it worth your time.

Sorry, wouldn't even bother going there, old crap in a shed, even less than the avg bedroom studio. waste of time and space.

You have no idea how depressing that is to people like me who are using headphones and a 4 year old PC to produce.

Let me give you the icing on the cake then :D

Meh!

It always comes down to what you can do with the tools you have. I think it's always refreshing to see other peoples work flow and how they do things. Go with an open mind and you can always learn something.

Depends largely on what is going on in the studio at the time so go with an open mind.

I produce all my stuff on a 19" with Floops, VSTs and Yamaha monitors, anything that is different is always good.

Cheers
Nem
