Rodriguez Jr. For his first Canadian appearance, he will be taking control of the dance floor at Le Salon Daomé, along with Olivier Saint-Germain and Sarath Pereira. An event that will take you right back to summertime!
Rodriguez Jrs’ sound would certainly fall into the “hard to put in a box” category, characterized by a deep a sense of musicality and sharp rhythmical aspect. He is known for his skillful ways of slowly unfolding his melodies onto the dance floor, taking you on a journey through sounds of soft and dreamy melodies, all wrapped in a progressive and funky style, leaving dancers begging for more.
He started producing in 2006 on Laurent Garnier's label (F-Communications) Creating complex pieces of music, renewing a genre sometimes stuck in its own rules. The breakthrough came in 2008, with his Lila's EP, a release that sees him explore the realm between house and techno in an innovative, melodic way. Rapidly, he goes on to remixing tracks for established artists such as Dominik Eulberg, Matzak, Holger Zilske and collaborating with Marc Romboy. He then started circling the globe, setting fire to dance floors everywhere he passed, riding a wave that will bring him to Canada for the very first time.
