Free/Cheap plug in to monitor waveform?

I'm looking for a free or cheap plug-in that allows you to look at the waveform as you would see it in audacity or soundforge. If anybody knows of one I'd appreciate the heads up!

Smexoscope is good IMO, it can you give a time/waveform view, whereas the oscilloscope will only give you an instantaneous view of the waveform I believe.
Smexoscope is good for checking whether the waveform is too blocky after mastering especially, since you can get a good feel for the dynnamics. |

| Just found Open Scope if one wasn't enough, but S(m)exoscope looks really good. |

| I think Voxengo Span has an oscilloscope but not 100% sure |

well, i use exoscope too, its free and it works well. |
