Fischerspooner - Emerge (Vinyl) question...

alright, i bought this vinyl a little while ago
side a: dave clarke remix
side b: radio slave edit, original mix

now the dave clarke remix is fine, just like the one pvd spun in his emix from love from above, but the radio slave edit and the original mix are speed up and the voice is higher pitched (kind of like a chipmunk, but not as bad)

plus the album version and single version of emerge i have, are completly fine

when i bought the vinyl and i saw "original mix" i was hoping it was going to be like the single/album version, why wouldn't it be?

is there a different version of the vinyl the version of the song i want?

also one sort of related question....does anyone know why fischerspooner put those pops into emerge??? it sounds like a messed up mp3 rip, but i know its not, cuz thats the way it was made, the vinyl has it as well

thanks in advance all knowing tas!! :D

Well, it might be your needle... If its a Stanton Cartridge, its most likely that mate. :)

its not the needle....cuz i have the same exact pop everytime, in the same spot, and on the mp3 version that i downloaded

jpx, any comment on the weird chipmunk type voice on side b???

when fischerspooner was on top of the pops (uk) the pop is also on there....fischerspooner-emerge_(totp_uk_07-19-02)-svcd-djd

the pop is also on the "winter warmer" edition of the mixmag cd (from like march maybe, i forget which month it was)

but why????
