Britney Spears - Crazy
An "internet friend" of mine said he wanted to send me a song. I thought he was insane, because while I did finally upgrade to 56k, downloading an ENTIRE song would surely be something that would happen overnight.
He direct connected to my AIM name, and I gasped in disbelief when the song was only about 4 MB and seemed to be pretty damn good quality. He then proceeded to tell me about this new-fangled "mp3" filetype.
... and then there was Napster. :) |

I had upgraded to 56k, but my phone lines sucked ass and I could rarely connect above 26,400... often less. Bastards. |

oh in that case i dont know then..the first mp3 i heard was probably like the windows startup or something that was an mp3 embedded .wav file or something..
now some windows nerd will probably correct me and be all like oh but it was encoded as a standard .wav file..fack off.
babylon zoo was definitely the first mp3 i aquired by illegal means, my mate copied it on floppy disk...like in two parts LOL |

Yeah, after I found WinAmp there was no alternative.
I'm installing m4a plugins for WinAmp right now as a matter of fact :D |
