its pretty good, a lot of deep house guys, chop up samples from old disco records and use em has one shots..so that might be something you might wanna try out.
to me right now it sounds progressive....you might wanna slow it down a bit.
there needs to a little bit more groove and rhythim going on there for it to be deep.
as far as how it sounds like..theres no particular way how deep house sounds and i know that aint helping you out..but i think as long as it has that groovy bassline it will come across.

Haha, you know, for a guy who just can't spell thats pretty good:D
You've definately got the right idea for a certain type of deep house. Its not Deep deep house, more like really slow prog ala some of Nick Warren/global underground's old stuff, but its still pretty mad. Its got the kind of sebastian davidson kind of sound to it actually.
I think that the main sort of fluttering sound you've got going on is a bit too rough for deep house, maybe something a little smoother might be the go. Also, the mix is boxy adn the tempo's a little too fast. But you probably already knew all that. I'd put a bigger verb on that main bass thing, and try and get a bit more slap on the reverb for the other elements.
Reminds me a lot of this track
was that what you were looking for? Or were you more after something less deep prog and more deep house like this?

Love the Tracks you posted up.
I am trying to learn how to make this style and sound for my tracks.

Good stuff man. That distorted bass sound is kind of distracting and doesn't contrast well with the airness of the song.
Also something about the kick that sounds fishy to me. I think it might be too punchy or the levels might be out of place, but that's just me I think.

Mm... Well that second Dakota track is straight prog, nearly prog trance even IMO, third and first ones you posted are more like deep something, but not quite deep house I think.
You don't need samples for this sort of thing, its all synths. Get a bunch of different plucks and get a nice syncopated groove going most of these tracks will have at least one or two plucks. Lots of room verb, lots of 7ths and stuff. Its all fairly similar to trance, unlike say really deep housey house.
The main difference is the shortness of the phrase length for the bass. Trance usually has a 16 bar phrase in the bass, deep house is usually far shorter, maybe half a bar-a bar long. Also, because the tempo's so much slower, you fill out the bars with a lot more percussion, the rhythms are a lot more complex.
Its not a huge jump from trance to this though IMO.

The kick and bass are both too aggressive and rigid for deep house IMO. I'd suggest replacing the kick with something less punchy, and more round/softer. The saw bass is very aggressive and in-your-face - I'd suggest filtering it considerably to soften and round out the tone. Also, the bass part is very hard quantized and rigid and it seems like the note velocities are all about the same, so it doesn't groove with the track. If you can play the part with some groove, then I'd do that, then edit/nudge/etc. as necessary to correct any timing issues and loop it. If you can't play it, then I'd suggest varying the note velocities so that the first and fourth notes are accented (higher velocities) relative to the other notes. Try nudging the notes just behind the beat (by milliseconds) as well to help the groove lay back and get rid of that rigid hard-quantized feeling.
As far as house chords/stabs go, think seventh and ninths chords, and possibly even eleventh and thirteenth chords.
For EPs, I usually use my Kurzweil PC3X or Yamaha FS1R (hardware), but NI Elektrik Pianos (previously available in standalone, now part of Kontakt 4 library) is good, as are many of the EPs in Cakewalk's Dimension Pro and NI FM8.

Cryo's pretty much hit the nail on the head there, so I won't go into too much detail but like everyone else has mentioned, the kick and the bass are too hard to really fall under the 'deep house' umbrella, and therefore don't really fit in with the rest of the track content.
The bass definitely needs more groove too, the majority of the music I DJ/listen to is deep house and two of the main things I look for in a track are a decent rhythm and/or a bassline with a nice groove. This demonstrates the type of bass I love (especially at 3.04) and this (at around 4 mins) is a prime example of the short stabs that I think you are trying to emulate.
