| Both are them are better off on their own. Maybe their egos couldn't get along. Anyways, "Walhalla" is the best track to date in my opinion. |

You're definetly wrong there. 'Ligaya' is pretty good but in no way does it beat 'tenshi', 'gouryella', or 'wahalla'. Gouryella will never be as good without Tiesto. |
100% AGREE... I like Ligaya.. but there is "something" missing in the song.. something that Walhalla, Gouryella, and Tenshi have.. |

finally I've seen someone that has the same point of view than me.. Ligaya is better than the other Gouryella tracks. Not that they're bad! But I've never been too impressed with the old tracks. This one's got more energy and impressed me a lot from the first listening. Though all we heard is a radio rip and radio rips usually sound more energetic to me, dunno why.
And I've heard someone saying that Ferry was the one doing the most work on the old Gouryella's, so it's quite probable that Tiesto got mad for not having enough participation in the production.
and..... now you can call me SUPREME :p my 200th post
EDIT: wtf.. I thought the user status was going to change.. is it at 250 post mark? |

Ligaya sounds similar to other Gouryella tracks, which begs the question: what the hell did Tiesto contribute in the first place?
IMO, Gouryella is Ferry's attempt to reconcile electronic music with Bach. Tenshi was the best (one of the all-time best trance tracks)but Ligaya is fantastic as well. |

| I love all of Gouryella's tracks, including Ligaya. All of them are so amazing, the melodies so beautiful! Flutlicht is the only other group in which I love every single one of their productions. |

| Wow...I'm surprised that so many of you feel 'Ligaya' is better than the earlier Gouryella productions. 'Ligaya' IMO is just another Ferry Corsten track. It's similar to corsten's remix of 'adagio for strings'...big bassy buildup and then into the corsten style strings and you have an epic floorfiller. The original Gouryella productions were more unique and have something that 'Ligaya' doesn't. The originals are classics and you're not a true trance fan if you think 'Ligaya' beats them IMO.;) |

I strongly agree with all of this. Gouryella was awesome with Tiesto, and is still awesome without it. And Flutlicht never disappoints! |
