I'm sure most of you will have a blast partying this weekend, but if you get the chance, watch the movie Monsters (which comes out in theaters today, Friday, Oct. 29).
I read a lot of mixed reviews about the actual movie, but it's definitely worth watching to see what Jon Hopkins did with the score.

haha ya seriously...This is probably the best movie to watch, after partying all weekend. Perfect music/score/soundtrack too.
Sigh, such beautiful music. Clint Mansell-ish, but better, imo.

I just read this movie is also available on iTunes... so you don't even have to go watch it in a theater (since it's only showing it in limited theaters). Nice!

Watched it tonight. The movie was cute. I liked it because it wasn't a "Hollywood" flick. Thought it was especially good considering it was the directors first film, and the budget he made it on. But I did think the music was too good for the actual movie.
