this is going to be beyond sick so it deserves its own thread. havent been to cameo since it was crobar in 2005 and havent seen zabs since 2008 so this is just going to be a lethal combination.

anyone else gonna hit this up?

so just because theres more than one show on friday doesnt mean anything. i dont think the parties have anything to do with each other. its not like they're all trance parties. if anything theres just going to be more people in town for the holidays so it should be easier to draw a crowd. zabiela isnt that big here anyway and neither do people really hit up cameo all that much. their bookings arent really up to par with some of the other stuff weve been seeing lately. so i think the kyau & albert show has every chance to succeed. k&a dropped an awesome set last time they were here and i expect nothing less from them this time around. most of the shows that weekend will be great so no matter what you decide to do you should have a great time.

My point in saying that was that those shows at Eden weren't getting enough support as is and now with a ton of other options I don't see that show happening. Especially since the promoter in the other thread is already saying we are working hard to make it happen.

I say your just guessing. Just to be clear the shows were getting support, just not the support that they should be getting, ie bottle sales, sold out pre-sales, etc.

No I'm not guessing, at all. Just going off things you have said and the pictures I have seen of the events and also the reviews I have seen of the events. When you have one of the top 50 djs in the world play and the dancefloor is empty by 3am at a 24hr venue, there is no support.

The SVD and K&A events looked the best from what I have seen and heard.

You are right in that SVD & K&A were the best as far as turnout, but Durand dropped the best set of the nights I went on. And let's not forget it does not matter what type of event you throw @ Nocturnal, they have all failed no matter the type of music they played or what DJs were brought. The only party that ever worked there for a while was Local Celebrity & that was years ago ...
