No, I actually do type it all out as I write. If I used Microsoft Front Page, my post would have so many meta-tags it'd probably take a whole day to load the thread :p

And I used to add some colours to my posts, but decided less is more.

Really? That was an all-time low?

No, I don't think the man is self absorbed. And I'm not a Bush apologist... I just think he honestly meant it was an all time low on a personal level and as usual didn't communicate that nuance.

No way! One does things with his heart, and the other does with his guts: there's got to be a difference here :D

Hmm....

That's plausible... but, if it is the case, it's a miracle he became the president having such poor communication skills.

No wonder he's a staunch Christian :p

I know... it does seem odd. This may sound strange too since you probably didn't watch and considering the myriad video clips and sound bites we've all seen of Bush's bad speech gaffes, but what really helped him, especially in 2004, was the debates. When he wasn't doing prepared speeches or press conferences, but doing 1 on 1 debates vs. John Kerry he shredded him. Plus John Kerry looks like a horse. I remember thinking during the debates, "Jesus Christ why doesn't he come off like this at the podium?"

I'm convinced John Kerry and Sarah Jessica Parker are related.
