| Maybe we need a sticky for new products and promotions??? I'm thinking of just one sticky for anything new, introductory offers, or good deals/sales on existing products. Just a thought. |

You people are ing insane. He's an established producer, he created materials some people here might appreciate and he put it in what would be the best place to put it -- in the Production Studio.
He's being completely on-topic and reasonable, how the is he supposed to know 90% of you are whiny bitches that won't support anything advertised on this site unless the creators also sign up and spend time integrating themselves into the people here. He probably just figured this community is an appropriate audience for a product he's created, which it should be, and he's sharing it in the correct place to do it.
all of you who actually attacked him for this, as if the production studio is constantly swarmed by one-off posts made by people looking to sell something they made. These don't pop up that often and when they do they don't hurt anybody. Let the guy have one thread around here in case any of you are interested and we can get on with whatever it is we do here without the whining and absurd personal attacks.
If he comes back every month with a thread like this and posts absolutely nowhere else, then fine, bitch about it, but him coming here once isn't hurting anyone. |

You're first mistake is in not knowing what the ing rules/protocol of tranceaddict are. This is NOT the promotions forum #1, so NO he is NOT "on topic". And he shouldn't be advertising his illnamed sample pack in this forum in the first place.
Explain to me exactly how that makes him "on topic" please?
Second, "reasonable" is a more subjective term. You may think he's being reasonable just because you worship the music he makes, thats still no justified grounds to ignore how unreasonable he has actually been, telling US if we need tuts we can use google, not realizing him ing self if I WANT an electro sample pack, SAME WAY if I want a tut, I WILL USE GOOGLE.
So based on his logic of "just use the internet", how is he being reasonable by forcing that into a forum where its not even allowed? Not to mention this forum is actually FOR tuts (among other ), which is why I don't go google and usually will come here to learn. But I ASSURE YOU, I dont come into the production forum with my wallet open hoping to see this .
You're prob mad that some people came at him so hard. But the fact remains that because he IS a more established producer, he should have some fundamental common sense as to what would happen going into a production forum to spam us with his ads.
Should he have known we would have all been "whiney" bitches? No. He had no way in hell of knowing how insane TA is at times. But he STILL should have known that noone wants to come on this forum to buy . It takes 2 g/damn seconds to read the guidelines, 2 seconds he refuses to take because all he wants is kysoras sympathy and wallet.
Even if it was something I could have used, I still would have told him to get a ing clue. I don't want to see the period the end. And who cares WHAT he is selling? Its the same as the trolls that come in here trying to spam us with viagra ads. ALL they give a about is money, all lax gives a about his money. Its selfish, and hes insinuating wtf we should do when we want tuts. him and you. THIS is the forum for tuts, how dare that mfkr tell us we can use the internet/google for that .

I don't like his attitude, I don't like the respect he has for this forum, I don't like his product, I don't like the name of his product, I don't view him as any more valuable then the avg worthless troll that comes in here pushing their products on people who obviously don't ing want it.
By you supporting this , you are supporting every like him. Do you want this forum full of a bunch of jackwagon dodobrains trying to profit off people who are hear to LEARN? Its a simple question. And I take you're stance of supporting him as another obvious lack of respect for TA. Go to the ing music promotions section if you want to sell/buy , otherwise you for supporting him. I'm not perfect, I make a lot of useless threads, but I'm also a member and contribute at times. It has a way of balancing out. You will NEVER see this again. TA is essentially the whore he uses to get his product out there. You are his whore for agreeing with him.

How is giving an established producer a heads up on the fact that his product name sucks "personal"? If ANYTHING, I've accidentally helped this douchebag into realizing how terrible it actually sounds.
He DOES deserve to be on the end of that, thats *business* for you, its definitely not personal. One way or another his business motto will be weeded out of existence if its not working. The name is definitely not a deal breaker, but its pretty important nonetheless as its what everyone will see first before entertaining the idea of even listening to his demo.
Once a product is established, and gains a track record, that is different. But if you don't have millions for advertising, its genuinely a good idea to think of a better name than "electrozylium" or w/e the its called. Sounds worse than something I'd pick out a hat. Might as well just named it "buy me". |
