I really like the section at around 1:14 but the track seems a bit muddy before then, and the higher layered synth you have in some sections gets drowned out.

Nice work though! :D

Definitely liked this tune man, good work.

hmm its not usual i dislike your work, i though it was pretty nice, good transitions variations etc. but overall it sounds very cheap and flimsy, not something i associate with the genre, well it doesnt matter about the genre really.

Definitely dig this tune! Great concepts, but I think if you softened the sidechaining a bit to be a little less start/stop style or to have more flow and dynamic to really pump around the kick, instead of next to it, it would flow a lot smoother in my books. I say this only because the melodies have potential and when the kick sidechains absolutely everything in the mix, I find that I lose the drive of the melody or the bass and instead focus on just the beat.

Great mix too, huge potential mate!

Cheers.

Thank guys, sidechains down, and I can understand what you mean by flimsy =]

I liked it. Any changes I would recommend would be based purely on my own sensibilities. I really like what you did with the breakbeat and the bass-line. Nice work.

I'd go with this.

I think this style of track really needs smashing through a compressor.

It's well structured, and well mixed though.

Possibly a little too derivative sounding?

Buy a 3630 off ebay and run it through that :D

Ive really compressed this on the final version sounds a lot better now running thru my sonalksis compressor =]

Do you have multiband or just the compressor? Regardless, I love the Sonalksis line.
