The lead sound is very dry and basic sounding, the open hats likewise. The swirling white noise type background is quite nice, but honestly you need to work those sounds more.

With Rich on his comments, the dryness can work though and can almost become a feature if done right, but I have found that it lends itself better to bass than to leads unless it's a very electronic (Commodore 64 stylee) lead like the sort of stuff you get with Electro House.
I like the bass in the break, but would have liked to have a better drop once the track kicks on. But then that's me... filth monster to the max. Just would have liked a bit more.
I like the fact that you didn't try to emulate other remixes or the original and were not afraid to put our own mark on it.

the remix is very well sequenced, but imo, the sound selection use very old sounds...
