last "Trance" song Tiësto made....

I heard that Tiesto's Surrounded By Light song was his only Trance song on the Kaleidoscope album. Is it true? Does this song contain the Trance elements? I heard it was the sound similar to 'Nyana' 'In My Memory' and 'Just Be.' Or, it just reminded people of that type of sound.
I don't know, I personally find this song a really interested song.
It does indeed sound like Trance to me but I can't particularly explain it's properties of WHY it sounds like Trance... it just does. Can anyone point it out for me?
Or just tell me what you think about the song.
Compare the album version of Surrounded By Light to the Extended Mix of the song.

The sounds in The Extended Mix is just amazing.... the breakdown is totally eargasmic. I feel like I'm being absorbed into space (A state of Trance). not only that... that SOUND is amazingly crystal clear. not even Armin's latest album has this crisp of a sound
ah.... if only Tiesto returned back to producing Trance...
of course Tiesto is not the best nowadays, but it makes me think he can return back to his throne anytime he wants with by proving this track |

That song is okay. I've listened to it only once but I have not felt like I was lost into the state of mind. Not bad though, it sounds like Housey Trance.

Ah, so you haven't heard this song before?
I don't know, what do you guys think. Does it resemble his old school Trance with modern technology sound?
Tiesto has the most up to date sounds... none can compare. His productions always have this... very sparkly feeling to it. I can't really explain. It just rings in your ears, but in a good way. |
