The idea of doing this came when i listened to some of the old sets stored in my computer, from the 1998-2003 period, the golden era of trance if you ask me.
This consists in 2 one hour sets of some of my favourite old trance tracks. The first mix is more relaxed , specifically designed to listen at home with deep and hipnotizing tracks. The second mix is featured as a clubby mix, higher bpms and mostly major key tunes.
First Mix Highlights
The set starts with one of the tracks that established what today is called Coldharbour, a very hipnotizing trance track that catchs your mind soon, this idea is developed with the next songs.
With Orkidea's requiem for a dream the set start acquiring some energy followed by one of the few AvB tracks worthy, i played this track mostly because here the vocals are a perfect complement but not the whole essence of the song.
Frank T.R.A.X.X - Nebuchanedzar (O.R.G.A.N Mix) this is possibly my favourite trance track, and the best music a spanish has ever done in my opinion.
The set ends with the famous Ayla featured in many old compilations, giving it a cheerful mood.

Second Mix Highlights
Age of Love is probably one of the most known classics and doesn't need any explanation.
The Mystery - Mystery(Original Mix) one of the trance jewels i keep, this is how uplifting trance should be.
As said this set is more energetic , Nu Nrg needed a spot on this set, i chose Butterfly because Ottaviani just reworked it, failing hard at it. Classic sound beats 2010.
The set ends with Photon Project - Enlightenment i find it a good track to close a set with a good mood after listening to this i hope :)

Apparently it's the PvD original but on the "Tranceport" cd where it's taken says:
Words (For Love) - (original mix, featuring Paul van Dyk)
Still i think Oakenfold only mixed this but that's why i put Oakenfold in the title.
And thx Vernon i hope you like it. |

I'm sure other DJs have used that in their sets as well. |

Definitely but i grabbed this from Tranceport and the title was this.
Thank you everyone for listening, glad you are liking it, i think i can do this monthly or biweekly, or simply at random times i hate routine. |
