| Nice eqing on the drum and lower bass. I like the break, you just need to clean up that drop a bit (Maybe an uplifter and some white noise). |

It's nicely done, but the drop does not pack enough mustard for this to be interesting. At this stage it needs more, whilst complexity isn't everything there is room to develop sub melodies and other percussive lines.
One point that did stick out is that there is an element that comes in after the drop that actually sounds non rhythmical and doesn't work as such.
I may be too picky of course so apologies for that.
As it stands, its a good piece of work but not one that stands out and says, you just have to play me.
That said, you have skills and I think you have great potential.

Excellent feedback Nem and much appreciated as I am fairly new to this and need direction - I feel I have loads of melodies ideas in my head etc but need to fine tune production and dynamics
I will do some more work this weekend and get a new version done |

| very nice melody, have you tried a subtle second piano voice arp related to the melody after the break? something in between the synth and the piano |

Your kick and bass (the kick in particular) are too loud in level, giving the mix too much low end. Played on monitors you should find the mix too bassy...
The breakdown was sounding almost magical around 2:10, but the piano just ruins it. It needs to be of way better quality.
But pretty much just change the level of the bass frequencies as they're overpowering everything else at the moment. |
