I think I heard there was an extended version or a second movie or something, but it was only released in England.
THE best party movie ever.

Human Traffic - somehow I missed that one. Obtaining now :thepirate
Related film is Berlin Calling - I found this one a bit of a downer. Predictable underground DJ, gets into drugs, ...
I know this guy who experimented with ecstasy, he loved the stuff and recommended it to every random person he met. He was using it along with massive amounts of homebrew DMT and weed. He was always probably borderline manic-depressive and all these substances pushed him over the edge, he got into trouble with the cops, got thrown into psych ward several times, criminally charged with threatening neighbours, put in forensic psychiatric hospital, remand center solitary confinement, court appearances. 2 years later he's still trying to get his work license back, he's a medical specialist but I better not say what kind. Probably they're gonna require him to go to the drug rehab hospital in Guelph for 15 grand. A huge mess.

You are probably referring to Human Traffic: Remixed which is re-cut with new scenes, new CGI effects, and new tracks.
It was good but definitely not the best. Its All Gone Pete Tong deserves more accolades IMHO. I enjoyed Berlin Calling for its gritty realistic view of the German techno scene. Soundtracks were outstanding on all of the above mentioned films.
Has anyone seen the 3 hour Kraftwerk documentary from 2008?
Loosely inspired by the “Tibetan Book Of The Dead,” Enter the Void centers on Oscar and his sister Linda, recent arrivals in Tokyo. Oscar is a small-time drug dealer, and Linda works as a nightclub stripper. One night, Oscar is caught up in a police bust and shot, but true to a promise he made Linda as a child—that he would never leave her—he refuses to abandon the world of the living. As he lies dying, his spirit wanders through the city, his visions growing evermore distorted, evermore nightmarish. Past, present and future merge in a hallucinatory maelstrom.

I have still yet to see Groove.
Groove is a pretty fun movie. Hits on different aspects of the experience through the night of a party. I haven't watched it for a very long time, so I need a refresher. John Digweed though... him being in it is awesome.

+1
but its little things I see in that clip that remind me of what partying was like....no one is dressed to impress...they are dressed to dance all night.
