not even kidding. I knew this kid, messed around with some filters , went to see a Tiesto show that night and caught the gay. Poor guy. Apparently it was a narrow notch at around 800 hz that did him in. Well I suppose the tiesto concert and the aftermath involving a bunch of sweaty jocks on ecstasy acting out their latent homosexuality might of helped but still, watch out for that particular cycle.

yeah certain high frequencies could sound potentially nasty when played loud, you need to check your mix properly on a range of different playback systems and see if anything nasty is sticking out
