Buying records in Montreal
View this Thread in Original format

Hey, are there any record shops left in Montreal that get new EDM stuff? Mostly looking at Techno and Dubstep releases. More often than not I'll be looking for specific releases, not just browsing, as my interest is really more in LPs for home listening than any DJing reasons, and I simply don't know if there are any shops here that keep decently up to date stock for EDM stuff.

Thanks!

yeah i buy all of mine at atom heart and if you want to get specific records you can do special orders there. they order from wordandsound, so they can get you pretty much anything.

Yea, I'm 3 orders deep already. I'm getting Perlon's Superlongevity 5 through them and it's saving me like 40 dollars.

The point system is pretty sweet, too!

Mind you it can take them a while to get some orders in.
What you save in money, you waste in time! :(

But I'm afraid, Montreal has run out of options
unless you order it online on your own
PezCore
death of vinyl sometimes has some used records. aux 33 tours has some new stuff.

For Superlongevity it's not a big concern. It doesn't even get released 'till Dec. 6th so either way I'm going to be waiting.

Even with regular orders, any kind of delay will just keep me from spending too much money on records so I can deal.

man someone in montreal that likes perlon?? don't know too many hehe so its nice to hear! and im also waiting on the compilation.

also don't be like me: every time i hear something i like online i email atom heart to add to my order list. then time will go by and ill forget exactly how many records i've ordered and then randomly they'll receive 20 records at the same time. then ill be broke for a little bit haha
