It's been 18 years since he passed but here's one of his last evr sets and possibly his very last interview. Good stuff in there.

Thanks for sharing, looks like I have a lot of good sets to catch up on, from here!

Too bad I am rarely on these forums, as I could contribute much more to the discussions :)

Ron Hardy is overrated, his long raw (and boring) mixes along with productions are not my cup of tea. He was one of the first to take disco music and take the disco factor out of it, sorta. Inspired Theo Parrish later on (but Theo has funkier and groovier stuff). Although Hardy is legendary with early Chicago house producers because he started the wave, but I think that New York style garage/disco/soul was more centric to the birth of house.

Anyway - as for Larry Levan - R.I.P. - the man is a legend. His remixes are amazing. I am proud to say I have most of his remixes and compilations, including the legendary Paradise Garage stuff.

Back in those early 1990s days Kiss FM featured some really awesome late-night DJ shows. I wasn't around then, I just re-discovered them many years later. There was Paul "Trouble" Anderson, Julian Perez, Lil Louis, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Bad Boy Bill, Bobby Konders, Ralphi Rosario, and OF COURSE, one of my favourite three from that era - Timmy Regisford, FRANKIE KNUCKLES and David Morales.

To download many sets of these, as well as rediscover the scene, view pictures of old posters and tickets - and other nostalgic stuff - I suggest visiting this link:
