For this production i literally just used sylenth1 and Tone2 gladiator.
This is only the rough draft.
Where can i improve on it with regards to all aspects of production?

| Stop limiting everything to -4.0 dB or whatever you're doing. You're destroying the mix's dynamics, and wasting another 4 dB by not raising the output level afterwards. Get rid of those ugly 'mastering' processors and upload the mix again... |

| I don't know what that means. I have been struggling with this issue on ableton constantly. How can I change it, is there a turorial? |

What that means is that anything louder than -4 dB will be compressed down to roughly -4 dB (0 dB to -inf dB being the loudest and softest volume available, respectively).
There should be a limiter or compressor on your master channel that is causing this. Remove or bypass it, and if the volume clips, just lower the master volume to allow for the natural dynamics of the music. |

| I like the kick, it could stand out a bit more. I would introduce the main synth gradually at the start. After the break the bass grooves very nicely! I think pads synth and main melody could have a much better mix, cut some wet freqs and delays. Very nice and dreamy vibe! |

the keys need some work....and during the breakdown after 1:30....try to add some effects to the sweep and the ambience...sidechain it slightly and add in some stutters which match with the synth u are throwing in later.
and great job...good luck mastering it...:) |

So i upped the gain on the eq in the master channel to +4db and tweaked a few other things.
Let me know if you think it sounds any better.
Also thanks a lot for all your feedback people. |
