the bass needs to be more punchy and more vibrant.also try adding some effects while transitioning(add more if u already have, but don't try to spoil the harmony and structure of the song).the lead needs to be more prominent in the mix.
also some ambient sounds/pads through out the song...will give it more drama(any song needs drama :))
Thats it.
P.S - your mix is clearly not mastered. But i wouldn't worry if i were you.Its a science and you need to be really experienced and must have really great monitors and ears.

First things first, mastering typically means raising the overall level with limiting, which you haven't done, and even then only to a small degree. Saying that, I always say to forget about mastering and focus on the mixdown instead. Make it sound as loud and as good as possible without master processing.
The first problem with your track is that the bass range is in the wrong place (some might say otherwise, but I would disagree). You have a lot of upper bass, but the lower bass, or bottom end, is missing. Your bassline is almost on the boomy side around 82 Hz (E2), and would sound clearer if you lowered the level of the fundamental and increased the level of the harmonics (an octave above and so forth), or reduced the lower bass in level.
Also try cleaning the lower mid up by rolling it off on instruments that don't need it, while boosting the upper mids to bring each instrument out in a different frequency space). The upper mids or lower treble in particular are left completely open.
The piano is quite nice, but a bit thin sounding.
Your treble could also do with a slight boost by raising the hi-hats slightly.
I'm quite enjoying your sound around 5:50 though...
But in general try to apply more compression to make instruments thicker, and use plenty of EQ to distinguish sounds from one another.
Once you get all that sorted, then I'll tell you if the mix is worth mastering...

Thanks a lot Atlantis, i'll get on and try to make the mix more clearer..
I realised myself it was to 'crowded' but i wasn't sure how to space the things up.. eq will be my middle name for the next days :)

So i edited it.. nothing on the master channel this time.
Changed the bass, lead.. pretty much everything.. and recorded at -6db, for mastering purpose..
Let me know if i improved Atlantis..
Thanks!

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I only just found this thread today. This is sounding pretty damn good now (can't remember the last one). The bass range is a little loud though. Also at 1:10 there is a spike in the sub-range, especially in the right channel. It'll be the filter causing an offset so you might have to place a high-pass filter after it. Turn the bass instrument down though, as it's drowing out everything else. Also the lead and pad are tending towards the loud side. But it's this kind of mixdown people should strive to achieve. Great job on keeping the dynamics so open!
