seems you spend more time developing your ego than your sound. Maybe that has something to do with it. Your website is cringe worthy. 2 nobody misfits from spokane pretending to be relevant. As far as your feedback, I think i'm good. |
1327 followers cant be wrong. Must be doing something right. |

so they played a rave in spokane and this somehow means they are taking the EDM scene by storm. I am not the one making claims here. |
the point was that that was their first, rave. They have played several more and have several more lined up in the future. Why are you being so miserable about this? No one is saying someone is better than the other, I'm just trying to point out that some of the things you are saying are simply not true. Trolling at its finest and I realize nothing anyone says will change your mind, which Im really not bothered over. |

Sorry you feel this way...we don't exactly have a website (Soundcloud doesn't really count) but would like to make on down the road. Spokane is definitely not the place to be so we're moving to Seattle next year. Just thought I'd offer feedback since you gave us some. |

| don't be sorry. Just stop posturing. You are complete amateurs acting like you are somehow making a dent in the EDM scene. If there is something I can't stand more than bad music, its ego dip-s that don't know they suck. If you toned down the gloating, perhaps you not receive such negative feedback. Perhaps it works on retards that know nothing about music but unfortunately I'm not that guy. |

how are they posturing..? Yes they are amateurs, they just started, sue them for trying to make a name for themselves. You seem very high and mighty about yourself and your music but I found your soundcloud page...that place is barren man im not going to lie..Maybe if you spent less time trolling and more time giving out good feedback or at least finding music that you enjoy and commenting on that, you would get some more feedback yourself and you would have the balls to produce more than just those 30 second clips that make up the majority of your page. |

| they made the claim that they are taking the EDM scene by storm. They clearly are not. How many times to I have to say this. That soundcloud has nothing to do with my work. That is all stuff I made pre 2005 most of it from 2002. |

Listening to the track.
It's ok. Not sure it's hard hitting but that can be a subjective question as it's all in the ear of the beholder.
For me the high end seems a little out of control i.e. a bit harsh and I would like to have a better balance in the mix over all. It sounds like you may have been a bit stingy with the bass frequencies so the over all product is a bit tinny.
It has potential but I'm not sure I would see this as the finished article.
Also checked out your other track. It has a nice flow and good funk to the bass although I think the hi hats are so piercing that they become annoying after a while.
In terms of potential I would say that the other one is the stronger of the two, although I'm not sure that the vocal sits too well.
Do you use the same effects buss for vocal and synths, it would help to give the same feeling of space and depth.
You may also want the vocal to develop more before you go into full instrumentation.
I would perhaps also refrain from using that Pizzicato sound.
Otherwise thanks for sharing, you have some cool ideas but they need some development.
Cheers

i think this whole thing has to do with this thread starting off on the wrong foot and whoever is in here already has their mind made up before they even hear the song (which is what this entire topic, site, and business is over) and won't even give it a chance, you especially. Your mind was made up in a second and you did everything you could to reinforce that. This thread is just a void now, this is stupid |

Thanks a lot for the feedback Nem. Yeah those hi hats are really piercing so it would do good by turning them down a little. Afterburner is definitely still a work in progress, we were just trying something different from what we usually produce.
Again, thanks for the feedback =) |

I am sorry that unlike your website's claim, you clearly aren't taking the music industry by storm. Not even partly cloudy. |
Sig worthy! |

not at all. listened, it sucked. It was only later that I found out how hot these guys claim they are that my distaste for them grew. |
