| Mistique don't do CD releases, and it's too long to fit on one anyway. |

Ah need to take a look into this one.
Got a few of his NDi tracks and they were really nice. |

I like it as a whole. Though the album isn't grabbing me fully yet, I'm waiting to completely connect with the tracks.
Think you are right about listening to the full, proper-quality samples. I can hear a lot going on it the background that the ty Beatport samples aren't revealing to their full.
Seems a definite grower. Congrats to the producer, so encouraging to see a demand for this type of music and that it continues to get supported. |

| Took the advice and listened to the full tracks, really, really good music. |

| Simply magnificent. This is exactly how I would want the vibe from the early 00's prog house to progress. Very, very good work. |

| Been disappointed with many Mistique releases as of late but this is brilliant! Will definitely get this soon. |

By the way, the Beatport samples don't begin to do this album justice. These tracks really do need to be played in full. |
imho BP samples few and far between show the real value of any productions ;) |

They're often misleading, but sometimes they make a track sound better than it really is. With this album, listening to the BP samples I thought "This sounds pretty good". When I heard the tracks in full where they can trance you over over 8-10 minutes, they were so much better than Beatport suggests. |

and btw. how BP picks samples? do they always cut between the same minutes or the samples are being made by labels?
probably a silly question, but never been interested in this subject ;) |

It's not the same minutes. If a track features on multiple releases the sample is usually from a slightly different part of the track each time.
I imagine Beatport have some staff who choose the samples. They have an annoying habit of using the breakdown as the sample, with the clip ending just before the drop. A lot of people think they choose the most interesting parts of tracks to make them seem better than they really are. |
