Ok i figure you guys are mostly mac users... so maybe you can help.
i am not a Mac user and further away from being one after this morning's experience with their looped apple care answering system. No response. Call system is bugged. Really bad impression considering it's the first time i call.
i use iTunes and Mobile Me that seemed to work perfectly on my system and syncing with outlook and all... until i realized it was consuming A LOT of my CPU (not normal) even with apps closed and disconnected... the syncing program Dot Mac Sync is bugged totally, keeps running for nothing.
i know i can wait for a probable fix but why can't i get support at apple to tell me so or to find a solution while waiting !!!
i paid 100$ or close for mobile me and another 100$ for apple care when i bought my iphone...
guess i'll have to go to the store for such a stupid problem. because now i can't use what i paid for.
what's with that !!!
bad way in getting me buying a mac as my next computer. although really good attempt in killing my actual PC. i guess people with smaller CPU's woke up with a bluescreen this morning.
is there a way to reach them without going to the store ? |

unfortunately i have heard horror stories about apple care phone support
id make an appt with the genius bar and see them in person...
sorry bra... theyll fix this for you right away, they really value good customer service so go see them in person and theyll set u right |

i LOVE my MacBook Pro, but the last thing you wanna do is get in these stupid stores, 90% of their employees dont event have a in clue about the entire OS / Apps.
Still on my BB and never I will switch over to this piece of crap iPhone, they make the best computers IMO, but their phones are bad... rly bad
Apple Care is a waste between... their guys over the phone have no clue of what they're talking about neither

| Actually the best thng you can do is book an appointment and go to the store. I've had all my issues solved in the store and ive even had out of warranty parts replaced for free (although not applicable in your case). Over the phone is useless. Go into the store. |

why do u think that exactly? besides the no bbm thing.
and i agree with ryan. anytime i had an issue (which was rarely) with my iphone (havent had any problems with my macbook pro), i booked an appointment instore and always left a happy customer. |

You never owned an iPhone How do u know it's really bad?
Personally, the iPhone changed my life. Besides the weak battery and the slow OS 4 for the 3G model, i'm extremely satisfied, i use the email system for work and a ton of applications. How are the apps on your BB?
Im less satisfied with my MacBook pro though... For some reason, it never picked up the internet WI FI properly and so my connection to internet Is really bad with that laptop. all my other computers pick up the signal fine..... |
