Definitely got that Az (& where the hell have you been, btw?) semi-spooky vibe to it. Love the kind of bubbly sound. |

I like it. Definitely has that familiar Az groove to it and it's got a cool darkness to it, as well. Nicely done. Sorry I missed it, when it was first posted. |

Although you say you're dancefloor-minded when making this stuff, I enjoy your music through a pair of headphones while sitting at my computer too. Even if it is rather monotonous (which is something I tend to steer away from in most cases), your skills in setting up a dark yet certainly enjoyable surrounding more than make up for it.
I'd pick 2.2 as my favourite from the bunch |

I've actually been making the Future Planninc Committee stuff on headphones, partly out of necessity, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it.
find it much easier to get a more hypnotic feel going, and better atmospheres

This is basically the way I feel. The tracks are cool and hypnotic, and definitely have that spooky Asbrey feel. I really like them. But there is definitely a groovy, bottom end that is missing here that would make me say "wow, I could see myself playing this out". In my head I'm hearing a repeating 2-bar techno bass that would just drive these tracks to another level.
That aside, I love the builds and the atmosphere... keep it up. Always enjoy hearing your productions! |
