| The kick has too much of a heavy tail for the style you say you're going for. Your mixdown is very, very rough. It sounds like you have clipping in the master, but you limited it and pushed the DB. The dead mouse part is correct, but what's the use in crudely reproducing something that's already been done? I think you should do your own thing, and this would sound a lot better. If I want to listen to DM, I'll listen to DM. The production is OK, but the over compression in general is really hard to cope with. |

Hi,
I did not want to reproduce DM, I don't like to reproduce
anyone..
Just preset from sylenth1 is similar to DM
and main melody is my own melody..
I put title 'Deadmau5 style' just to be more attractive..
So don't compare this song with DM 100%..
It is coincidentally litle bit similar to DM..
p.s. I wanted to have litle compression on kick.. |

And there are no over compression, I used
'pick controler' to have effect similar to sidechain..

| left my comments on your soundcloud, i agree with evolve on the kick, i had the track on very low though so didnt pick up on the clipping. |
