Netlabels music for free

I've pretty much gone out of edm for a while as I basically lost interest in music. I found it all too shallow. I dislike anything with vocals in it and the nowadays joke radio shows.
There is still some things mainly from Mistique Music, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ew_wVnAvpjk
that I do like, but it's scarce. And even then I am hardly swayed over. Instead I've started to listen to lounge, chillout, ambient and soundtrack etc.

So by some luck I've stumbled upon this great resource of basically free music (almost all labels offer free dl):

Great examples:

Nyctalgia (there's 5 tracks and they are ALL worth a listen):

Dopedrone:

And there's loads more I haven't gotten around to listen.

If you're into psychedelic forms of trance, techno, and downtempo, check out Ektoplazm:

GrimReaper
I like Nyctalgia.

A few of the net labels I've been following for some years are Kahvi and Soft Phase. Mostly putting out downtempo and IDM related material but sometimes surprising with something totally different as well.

Soft Phase doesn't whore out stuff too often but I like most of what's been released there. One of my favs: Mosaik - Leandi from last year.

Thinner and Nishi and Stadtgruen i like. ambient/idm/techno mostly

is the same as ASOT 21 hour 2 :(
On HIS! playlist (www.arminvanbuuren.com) indeed it does say it took place on 17th of november, and as you say if it's (it is) the same as episode 21 (8th of november) how is this possible ?

Let's recap,
the set that's floating around as
2001-11-17 Armin van Buuren Live at Passion in Coalville (UK)
is obviously ASOT 21 part 2
WHY SOMEONE NAMED IT THAT WAY IS BEYOND ME.
I think you're right in your 2nd guess about mislabeling.

I didn't have time to listen to all my episodes or live sets yet, so good work again.

However mind my set:
2001-12-14 Armin van Buuren Live at Passion in Coalville (Special at ID&T Radio) (UK)
I'll go little illegal here, it was a rls:
armin_van_buuren-club_passion_coalville_uk_(dec)_2001-1real
Although aired on 14th of december (released on 15th) it is the only Passion set around from that time .
I have this release plus a personal recording of the same set by a friend of mine from another release group who literally recorded every hour of ID&T in 2001:eyes: , so I know this for fact!

And as we all know ID&T does have some strange ways :whip: :conf:

So my guess is that this is THE real episode 24,
THE real Passion 17-11 set :)

So what we know is that Armin played the same night, 17th of november 2001 in both Golden and in Passion and that the sets from the clubs were aired on ASOT eps. 23 and 24 (and later on ID&T again).

As we also know Armin has more than once played in two clubs in same night (like Armada night just recently), and with Stoke-On-Trent being just 45 miles from Coalville this was easily done.
See:

I think we can finally mark this as solved.
