I only got a chance to check out the beginning of Jon O'Bir's set before I had to go home. From what I saw he was pretty interactive with the crowd... I definitely would see him again.
Jon started out with "Dynamik," a pretty solid choice. Quazar would have loved it. :)
Then I think I heard an "Under Your Spell" + "The Wonder" mashup for the first time.
Just as I was leaving Jon was playing Aalto's "5"... one of my favorite all-time trance tracks. I never heard it in a club before.

I didn't get a chance to hear Jon's big track this year, "Found A Way (Joint Operation Centre Mix)." Maybe next time.

yeah, got there by 10ish...was a freaking ghost town.. i could have sworn they were gonna close by 130. However, seems the turn out was pretty decent, and vibe was great when jon o'bir came on. I caught Mike Efx's decent set, was good, was able to introduce myself.. since this guy use to co-host years ago in Fresno of all places with a trance session on Fridays with his former partner Omar (DJ omar trance).
caught some TA's aswell..Emily.. GPC, sweetcandygirl, Rad etc. I think I saw you apeaattack. hope to see you all for Tritonal, Sean Tyas, W&W. |
