Windows XP Folder Help

I'm not too adept at even doing the simple stuff in XP, so I was wondering if anyboy could help me.

All I need to know is how to make all folders default view as list, so when I'm organizing , I don't have to do one folder at a time.

If anyone could point out how big a simpleton I am, that would help as well.

it's actually not the hard... after you know how to do it ;-)... just set up one folder the way you want it... then go into "Tools" and select "Folder Options"... Click on the "View" Tab... and the click on the button that says... "Apply to all folders"... that should get you going...
