| i was just listening to it really loud, does the low end seem a little sloppy to you?(at higher volume) regardless, it has a nice deep sub THUMP! |

It might be. I can't listen to it really loud as I live in a town-home, and I'd have my neighbors knockin' on my door soon. :D
But anyways, you probably are correct. The bassline in this song consists of five channels/layers.
1 = Acid-Type High-Passed Arp
2 = Low 7th Chord
3 = Perc/Low-Passed Kick Pattern
4 = Deep Sub-Bass
5 = High-Passed Bassline
It might be so that the Perc/Kick Seq is interfering with the 7th Bass or the deep sub-bass. If you say that you can hear the sub-bass clearly, then it might be the 7th bass + the kick bass. I'll definitely take a look. Thanks for that :) |

Too short. ;)
I had to listen to it, twice. That bass-line has layers to it but I can definitely hear that 7th chord, when I'm listening for it. I usually just do a diad when it's that low and I want more notes in the bass-line, but it sounds good on your tune, regardless.
Nice work, man. |

sounds pretty good. :)
gotta say it sounds like a professional producers tune. No seriously, it doesnt sound bland, it actually sounds like it could be from armada, vandit, etc. Only thing I would say to improve on is the snare, maybe eq to give it more colour or let the mastering brighten it up, if thats what you're already planning. |

Thanks Eddie! You're opinions are always one of the best.
All I do with my songs is just try to please you ;)

Thanks so much! That's obviously the kind of sound I was going for :rolleyes:
I did think the snare was a little weak as well. I'll definitely give it some colour! Thanks for the suggestion! :) |

| This is great! I have to agree with MSZ about the low end though. Sounds like there's too much going on frequency wise and it's a bit muddy. It's almost perfect but try tweaking a bit more. |

Thanks!
Yes I do agree with you. I just blasted it in the car, and the bass seemed like junk, so I;ll fix that for sure.
New update on the track, by the way!
Still haven't fixed the bass and snare, though, but made it longer and added an arp.
Thanks! |
