i have an s90 (predecessor to the s95) and the sound quality on videos is horrible, especially in clubs... i used to have an sd870 and the sound was amazing.

Yeah, was reading some reviews of the s90 and s95, and read similar comments about audio clipping on the s90. Someone asked whether the s95 solved that problem, but nobody answered... :wtf:

Yeah, the 870 had better audio. The problem is the older powershots had a mono microphone at the top of the unit, so it was a bit away from the direct heavy bass from speakers. The S90 and S95 have mono or stereo units on the front.
